Women's Football

FEMALE Football

Peninsula Power Football Club has a long history of celebrating success in both our Junior Girls and Senior Women's Football programs.

Our mission is to continue to provide a clear and affordable pathway for Female Football Players from Junior participation into Senior Football with qualified coaches, sports trainers, efficient friendly team managers and great facilities in place.

Our club strives to provide equal opportunities for all female players, both local and international (Visa holders) to play football at a competitive level. Power provides international players with not only playing and coaching opportunities but also support for housing and transport during their football season.

Peninsula Power continues to promote and encourage participation for Junior Girls and Open Women's Teams. Our club's Junior and Youth girl's development programs ensure that players of all ages and abilities are provided with the resources for them to reach their full potential, like former Power Junior players who went on to play for The Matilda's
#85 Kim Revell, #110 Kate McShea, #135 Jessica Mitchell, #192 Larissa Crummer, #220 Cortnee Vine, #141 Sasha McDonnell, #212 Teagan Micah with others who have gone on to play A League including Melissa Limov Newcastel Jets, Britt Whitfield Sydney United, Tish Woods Brisbane Roar and the 2026 Clare Polkinghorne Melbourne City Medal Winner Rebecca Stott.

Our Women's Senior team currently competes in the Football Queensland Premier League (FQPL1) Competition and field an Under 23 FQPL team.
